I wonder if 3.e3 is so good for white. Never seen this one in any game before...

I rather wonder if Albin responded correctly. One good line for black is 3..exd4 4.exd4 Bb4+ with a transposition to a line of the exchange french that is not very promising for white (1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.exd5 exd5 4.c4 Bb4+).
