Although I didn't play in the tournament, I was pleased to attend for a time.  Anyone who has viewed my profile knows I like to play & imbibe.  This venue was good on both points.

What I missed was the chess.com part.  Point being, who's who?  Some of us may already be aware but I know only a few faces to connect to the handles on chess.com.  Beyond the "who's who" part; why are certain people not members of chess.com?

As I understand it, there are over 200 South Carolina members of USCF.  Yet there are less than 70 who are members of the SC Group on chess.com.  Why?

Now I don't suppose there is one definitive reason.  That would make the solution too simple.  But each of us could make a point of encouraging others to join chess.com & to paraphrase Martha Stewart...  that would be a good thing.

    Thnaks for the comments.

We added a few more memberships and I posted some handles with some real names.  Hope this helps.
