Michigan has completed a 10-2 season with our win vs. Ohio State. We have an excellent shot at a BCS berth. Here is what we should root for to ensure that Michigan to make the Sugar or Fiesta Bowl:

    • Notre Dame to beat Stanford
    • LSU to beat Georgia
    • Oklahoma State to beat Oklahoma
    • Houston to lose in CUSA Championship game

We only need two of the previous scenarios to occur to guarantee we make a BCS game.

Two or three of them look possible.  We would hate to have to rely on ND!

Stanford crushed Notre Dame, so that won't happen.

Those things would ensure we get in, but here is a list of what else could help us http://mgoblog.com/diaries/bcs-standings-thread-and-rooting-guide

Southern Mississippi has stunned Houston! Now Boise State might get their spot, and hopefully for us, Houston falls so far that we pass them.

Kansas State beat Iowa State, unfortunately.

Alright. Baylor killed Texas, which might give us some problems because Baylor is very strong in the computers. That means we (unfortunately) root for Michigan State tonight against Wisconsin.

LSU struggled early (they trailed 10-0 and didn't muster a first down the entire first half) but they pulled away and smashed Georgia; which is great for us. Now our attention shifts to the prime time games, with bolded teams who we're pulling for:

    10. Oklahoma @ 3. Oklahoma State

    13. Michigan State vs. 15. Wisconsin

    5. Virginia Tech vs. 20. Clemson

Wisconsin defeated Michigan State 42-39; and Oklahoma State killed Oklahoma. Brad Edwards tweeted his projected standings; which had Michigan #13!
