Ok, we've all heard of the big bang theory. But there are some big holes in it.

We know that the universe (that we can see) is uniformaly green. This really should not be.

Another issue is that--how can an explosion possibly create life?

You're expecting me to believe that the universe was born from a huge explosion that happened billions of billions of years ago?! The issue is that there are so many steps that it just takes 1 error for it to go wrong (like matter v Anti-matter)

Well is like an old theory like Theory of evolution or like fairytales of anxient times in greek philosophy times . I don't believe in big bang theory and in theory of evolution . Pure ignorance of humanity that don't know and pretend to know something that don't have enough information about. This theory is more philosophical than scientific so need some oil of scientific reason to determine how come the Universe. Is impossible to bring life with explosion . Do it now and you destroy the life not create it.

ok, well after billiions of years the universe was able to cool down enough to sustain life, however you are right there are big holes in the theroy. even general relitivity breaks down at the big bang. my belif is that it went through inflation. which is a extreme period of expansion that it expandeed even faster then light. eventually atoms were not so bound togather and molecules interwined  creating water, which all living beings were made of:)

also through inflation our laws of science broke down because inflation just took over

I find it unfortunate as a Christian that others try to tie science with faith.  The big bang theory and the theory of inflation are generally accepted by the scientific community but that is besides the point I am making and that is the following:  whether these theories are true or untrue has no bearing on my faith nor should it on anyone elses.  Science and religion should be decoupled.  I find it sad when fundementalist try to come up with psudo-science to debunk evolution and the big bang or whatever.  The two can co-exist independantly and should.

blau and inrernational, i think its cool to add science and faith. i am not christen but i belive that science does leave the door open for a divine being. we got very lucky with the big bang. if there were a un equal amount of particle pairs in universe then universe would have collapsed on itself. what happend before big bang? this universe certinly leaves the door open for god as this universe works in a perfect way. we got lucky. i think there might be a divine but we misinterpret its intentions and bounderies. i think of it as a play land lol. the divine made it for us to chill in and have fun. but we have a responsibliity as humans to be nice and spread happiness were it lacks

separation of church and state:  absolutely, that is what make the U.S. great

separation of science and religion:  100% YES.  two different thing completely.  Did not the western world have a renaissance that put this to rest, like over 500 years ago, hello!

Um, what does all this have to do with cosmology? Galaxies are either moving away from each other in some overall expansion of the cosmos, or they are not. What you believe has nothing to do with reality. Your beliefs should be based on reality. And science should adhere to moral values. This thread is complete nonsense. It's turtles, dammit! sorry let me clarify from what i said earlier i belive it was mispercived. i ment one can form another religgion based on the facts of science. not talking about how in the past religion has banned science for varies reasons. but yes what i said earlier was facts based on what physists have anaylzed. that was in a past post of mine
