Hi all who have read number 11. I am about 580 pages through right now and wow. Rand just had his arm taken off. Exciting.

But the real reason why I wanted to start this one is to ask the question, why does Egwene not transport her self to safty in Tele'ar rod or however you spell it? She did it to get to Salidar so why not do it to get out of the White Tower?

I also thought that the part where Lan is going to Tarwin's Gap for the last battle is one of the most emotional parts of all the books. Great chapter.

I dont believe she is finished with her mission. She went there to try to avoid a conflict between the sisters.

Yeah I must agree with dlordmagic. I believe she got unfinished business in the White Tower. She wants to start an inside rebellion against Elaida.

Besides that I must say that this is one of the best books in the series. I really enjoyed it. Lots of 'endings' - Mat marries, Perrin rescues. Excellent. I cannot wait for the last book - though late 2009 seems a long wait....
