Chess players in fort lauderdale?

    hey whats going on. I have picked up chess this summer, and im looking for a chess group in fort lauderdale, and eventually when class resumes i'll be looking for one near FAU.

    do you guys know of any?

    Jon is up to date on all chess clubs and competitions in South Florida.  You should find something there.  Jon is very communicative if you just ask.

    The boca raton chess club meets at FAU every Friday night at 7pm.  www.bocachess.com...dl

    Directions from Sample and 441 (state Rd7):
    * Go West on Sample until you pass Rock Island Road.
    * After you pass Rock Island Road look for Holiday Springs Blvd.
    * Turn Left at Holiday Springs Blvd.
    * Drive about 1/2 mile and the Holiday Springs clubhouse will be on your left.
