Flag rule for Season 2015 is similar as in WCL - a foreign country flag (intl flag counts as a foreign flag) can not be more than 1 in the first 10 tables and more than 3 in the first 25 tables and not more than 5 in all tables.
Does anyone agree with this rule?
Why not consider the votes?
Percentage of votes are:
15.8% A 3 0.0% B 0 50.0% C 19 42.1% D 16 Total Cities 69 Total Votes
Vote C: Foreign flagged players are permitted but no more than 1 foreign flag in the first 10 tables and 2 foreign flagged players for every following 10 tables in the match.
Vote D: Foreign flagged players are permitted but no more than 50% foreign flagged players for all tables in the match.
I will not be changing such controversial rule like flags, where everybody has different opinion and I dont want to have some separate discussion from WCL on this. So we are following WCL and will follow, what will be at the end decided for WCL 2016 in the next season. Forum for discussion about any suggestions, comments, etc. about Chess960 WCL.
Suggested rules changes for next year / to be decided prior next season:
1) flag rule - to follow main wcl
2) recalculation of matches on Phase Cutoff due to closed accounts
3) penalty for closed accounts
