Extrabold, I think we are down to 8 players, and we have 6 rounds in total.

Why don't we just make it a single round robin tournament, so that everyone gets to play anyone else? Everyone would play 7 games, that means we'd play just one more game than we'd play in this current setup, and we would eliminate the factor of luck, except some people having 4 games with black and 3 with white.

We wouldn't have to bother with draws for matching players either, and as the icing on the cake, all games could begin at once.

We have 4 rounds altogether, and 9 players.

With hindsight it would have been better to have 2 or 3 rounds with multiple games per round.

I would be happy, if there are no objections, to draw round 3 now, and then to draw round 4 whenever round 2 or round 3 is complete, whichever is first. That would give a fair contest, almost as quickly, without all the extra games. 

Or if you all want to convert to round-robin, I won't object. But I wouldn't impose a change of rules mid-way without a consensus.

OK, I would convert to round-robin, but I don't want to play all the games at once, I just offered draws in 4 games where I probably had a won position, just because I can't keep up with everything on the level I want.

I didn't know there were 4 rounds, because in he main championship page, it's suggested we will have 6 rounds.

And in that google sheet you have put up, there are only 8 players who have played and are now playing, with one player left out as "bye", I don't know what that's supposed to mean.

If we switch to a single round robin, having 8 games (as we have 9 players?), that is fine with me, it would be much fair for everyone, and I do like to play against some players I see all the time at chesstempo.

But as I said, I can't, and won't play more than 2 games of this championship at once with 3 days/move at the moment. As my games from other tournaments finish, that number could go up. If that's OK, I'm OK with the switching of the format.

To clarify, after we got only 9 entrants I decided that 6 rounds would be excessive, and I posted this change with the draw at the top of the round 1 thread.

OK, anyway, given philidor_position's, er, position, a round robin would take even longer than continuing as we are.

There is still the option of starting round 3 now as well. The draw will be slightly different than it would be with round 2 results known, but with so few players I don't think it will be an issue.

So, do you want round 3 now, everyone? Yes or no please.
