Okay Folks,

    We have a good core group going lets get some recruiting and forum posts flying around here. The posts can and should be about any and everything. Puzzles, questions, links to games and info. Please lets not become stagnant. Maybe we could all post an update of our chess journey, mine will be up in a few days. Just some ideas gang, let's stay motivated. I don't expect to have a 1000 members, just active ones. Thanks for reading and contributing.

Hhhmmm i haven't finished my good games yet so cant comment on any. But i will attempt to find a game i have played out already for u when i got the time and inclination to do it. As for my journy so far u sure u really want to hear my boring tale? :)

As one of the most active members of this group, I think I am in a position to say the things that I'm about to say.

I believe that many of our members have delicate egos, and do not like to be critiqued. Many of us would rather wait 'til someone else posts something for them to punch holes in. Many other members feel that their games are not 'good' enough to post, whatever that means. These approaches are selfish, and do not promote the ideals of this group, which are learning and sharing.

There is a forum on this group that is just for games; no critiques from anyone other than the contributor of the game.  The last time I checked this forum had been viewed 60 times, but there are only 2 games posted. A third game which I posted just to arouse some involvement (it had plenty of mistakes to hammer) was removed, because it was obvious that the viewers (except one) paid no attention to the match or the comments. The contributors of those 2 games unselfishly took their time to document their thoughts throughout the game with the education of group members in mind.  If this is what contributors can expect, then why should anyone waste time posting games with commentary? I will not post another game until I see at least 3 more people post games with commentary.
