The Columbia Open is coming up soon!!

I see molesrus, acshaw, crashfreze, SunTzuLombardi, hawkstrike and BruiserMac from the SC Group are entered to do battle. Anyone else going?

I enjoyed this tournament last year...it was my first!

I signed up today and another Greenwood player is also signing up this week.

That's great Mike! With 37 players registered it looks like players from Greenwood, Charleston, GA and our close friends to the North are entered but Aiken, Florence and Greenville are still MIA.

Today's the last day to take advantage of the early entry discount of $15. If you're considering going be sure register today and take advantage of the lower rate.

This tournament has SC's largest prize fund at $4000 b/70 and the early entry of $65 makes this a great deal.

If you aren't able to play in the tournament try to drop by and check out the life size chess pieces. These were displayed for the first time at this tournament last year and should be back this year. They're on display at the Airport also. The pictures don't do them justice.
