I want to get a discussion going about openings.
I have been having some fun with 1: f4 ... 2: Nf3... 3: e3...
What do you think? Does any one know a.bout this opening? Has any one else played similar? What results are coming from it?
I am finding against players upto about 1500 it works well, players ranked higher tend to beat it (not meaning the opening is not good, but they can play against it well). I think the move that causes most problem for me is 1:f4 e5
