Those were the first 3 games from this engine tournament. In game 3 both Firefly
and Gandalf were chasing each others king. Firefly was up for a time but lost in the
    endgame.

do you have a rating above your shoe size in OTB play?

    DarthMusashi

My highest rating was 2205 after I had won the Hawaii State Chess Championship
in 1986 & 1987. My current US Chess Federation rating is 2087 and my FIDE rating
is 2100. But I believe I am playing at 2200+ level now.

I am a columnist at Chessville in my column called "The Search for Dragons
and Mythical Chess Openings" where I explore strange new openings and
    gambits.

Interesting your profile at chess.com sayes you are unrated but yet you brag about engine play and gambits. Read the article at chess.com about bad (weak) players their opening play consit mainly of gambits!  Sit down over the board with a strong player club type and try your bogus unsound gambits. they only work in blitz games or games where you use computers Being a columnist means nothing.

That is not true. I had won the Hawaii State Class Championship and the opening
    I used was the Ulysses Gambit 1.e4 c6 2.d4 d5 3.Nf3 to win the Master/Expert
Section. In that same tournament I drew against Leslie Au (2250) with my Gibbins-Weidenhagen Gambit 1.d4 Nf6 2.g4. I took down fellow expert Patrick Perry who
became a national master the following 2 years and Hawaii State Champion.

You can believe what you want to believe but I know what is true.

I checked your profile and you are the weak player. You should play gambits
to improve your tactics. Whether it is sound or unsound it should not matter.
When you play gambits you have to play more precisely otherwise you get
chrushed. I do not believe you looked at my column at chessville called
The Search for Dragons & Mythical Chess Openings. There you can see the
games and judge for yourself whether I am telling the truth.

My blitz rating at the Chessville Chess Planet site is 1850 but should go higher next time. A lot of times when I play blitz I am experimenting on new chess gambits.
And I sometimes test my gambits againts my practice partner, the chess engine
Firefly 2330. However Firefly usually beats me. You should play to improve your
game rather than play to win in your practice games. In tournaments you play to win.

You are talking about postal chess. I do not play postal chess because it takes too long. And I cannot stand thinking about a few game for 4 months. I normally play game 5 minutes. The most I will play is game 15 minutes.

Yes I mean a slow game one day per move no game under these time limits has ever lasted more than one week and 4 days If you are willing you have my username challenge me to a thematic game. (gambit of your choice colar of your choice) if you did win the H.State champeanship you are used to slower games . Do you think that gambits cant be played againest unless its a blitz game. Sometimes I do play gambits in long games I give people time to unranel problums sometimes they can sometimes they cant. Let's play.

Ballcrusher1, you are talking a lot of nonsense. Darth is obviously a  super outstanding player and I can't stand by and watch you being so disrespectful. As for his ability just review his recent games. Look at his proven record. End of story. Want to learn more about chess and improve you game ?  Just listen to him !!

Not so sure it is sound.  Black can easily get in trouble and fall for a trap.

3...f6 is a very bad move by Black.  Black should play either 3...Bg7
or 3...d6 heading for a Blackburne Hartlaub type of position.
