Who is you favorite Red Sox player? Mine is Jason Varitek, as he is an elite catcher; has leadership skills beyond anyone else; and always seems to prove to others that he can still hit.
I like Bay and Papelbon, two of the game's best players. Youkilis and Pedrioa are pretty good too.
I gotta go David Ortiz. And I have no problem admitting that the 2004 ALCS is my justification and he could finish the season around the mendoza line and my opinion would not change.
Pedroia is da man!
Yeah, Ortiz used to be my favorite player, but he seems to have completely stopped. He's still the clutchest player in history! He must have the record for game-winning home runs.
I have to say Ortiz, we are almost the same except he is Dominican and I am American
jacoby
yeah I like him a lot too!
Pedoria, essberey, and baldeley, beckett, and lester!!!
Jason Bay!
Kevin Youkilis
All-time I'd say Dwight Evans. Currently playing I'd say Jacoby Ellsbury. He is so different from all Red Sox players before him. The Sox have never had his kind of speed before.
Not the best prehaps, but my favourite is Ellsbury purely for stealing home last season
haha for sure
You think he's a better captain than Jeter, Mattingly, Gehrig, Ruth, or Munson?
HEHE, it's funny hearing that. Sure, sure, Papelbon is better than Mariano Rivera, that's so funny when you think about it, and Bay is better than Jeter? It's hard to imagine.
All Time?
Ted Williams...
Current,
Jon Lester
Dustin Pedroia
I'm sure Herr Gonzalez will figure on a lot of people's lists this year, fianchettoing the ball over the monster, as he no doubt will. And here's to one last shout by Big Papi.
Big luck for the season,
x
My favorite player have always been speed guys ever since Dave Roberts' "The Steal". There is something about those players with speed, as it is unteachable. So, I guess my favorite player in my life time would be Dave Roberts, but right now, it's Jacoby Ellsbury. I've been a fan of Ellsbury since he was first called up, and happy that he is in the MVP voting for 2011. Hopefully he will win, proving to my Red Sox buddies that he is no whimp.
