Hi everyone,
I was reading a post from the person who has been managing the US Team Championships. He had some ideas for rules and such for next year. I don't know if this will be a problem for us or not but this was one of the things brought up....
3. Limitation of players with foreign flags to 3 or 25% of a team match.
The last point is critical and requires some further explanation. The rule is not meant to be a hard rule but more a tool for us admins to act if a team clearly violates the spirit of the competition. In the lineup between NJ-WA, NJ has three such players, WA one. However, if one looks closer all of them reside in their respectives states which is perfectly acceptable so we wouldn't ask those teams to remove those players from the match lineup.
I don't want us to be penalized for doing such. I have enjoyed playing in this Championship and were doing pretty damn well so far. This rule hasn't taken into effect yet but if it does we should address it. Thanks.
