I am amazed at how many forums there are which discuss the topic of cheating. As an eternal student of the game of chess, it seems like such a waste of time to give cheaters the satisfaction of attention. According to the ABOUT section of this group's profile, this group is for "...those seeking to learn and those seeking to mentor...players hoping to improve their game...those who have experience can pass on their knowledge and experience." As a group, how are we doing in this regard?
Out of the 17 members of this group, there are 7 members who currently have a rating greater than 1700. And there is one player, who I will not name, that has a rating so low that does NOT reflect the true strength of his play. The current average rating of a member of this group is 1570. As the highest rated member (not to toot my own horn ) I know we can do better than this if we, as a group, remember why this group exist - learning and teaching.
So, here's my proposal. This forum is for GAMES WITH COMMENTARY ONLY. The lower rated players will learn a lot from the better players' thoughts throughout a given match. Let us comment on our own games, thereby sharing the thought process. This will help to demonstrate that we are making our own moves during our games. Please do not comment on someone else's game on this forum. If you have a burning desire to comment, or a question, then send that comment or question DIRECTLY to the person.
I look forward to the things that we will all learn in this process.
I guess this will be the first contribution to this forum. I've been encountering some problems with adding commentary to full games, so I will add the commentary notes at about 3 or 4 moves at a time. The notes will appear after my opponent's move, and will give a glimpse as to what I was thinking when Black made his move. I think this will be pretty cool.

Ok, here is a live chess game with 15 minute limit...I think the key is the early knight post I gained. His efforts to get rid of it game me a superior game. The game ended with a very complex pretzel that really worked out for the good guys...

The game below is my first ever playing against the smith-Morra Gambit. I'm new to the Sicilian defense, so if anyone has more experience and some advice to offer, I'd love to hear it. One of the things I like about this game, though, is that even though I got into an inferior position early on, it shows how patience and sound play can encourage your opponent to overstep him/herself and get into trouble.
