Members should post their favourite muggings here, either provide a link or the moving diagram. Smile

I'll get the ball rolling. The following is a game I played against a strong improver, we had played a couple of times before, and he was wary of my gambit play. He chose to play the Caro-Kann. I hate playing against the Carro-Kann, all that positional play and regard for pawn structure not to my taste!

I thought that I'd played this near perfect, however, after passing the game through the site analyser, it turns out I made one inaccuracy and three mistakes! Bragging rights for those that find them.

The following is an example of how to choose the ground on which you fight:

Roy,

the Muzio game was awesome, I'm going to need to play that through a few times to gain some understanding! Black was certainly no bozo, he put up a real fight. Thanks for posting.

It was a turn-based game - 3 days.

Finished this game yesterday, it's quite a bit of fun. Also this is the first time I've used the annotated moving diagram, so forgive me if there are errors and the analysis is synthetic (I didn't want to post something with tons of analysis first time out, only to discover I'd got it all wrong).

This one doesn't really showcase any amazing use of gambits or anything, but it is a game in which I managed a draw against a National Master.  That in itself is some kind of magic.

Wow! Great games guys! I'm not in that league, but I'll post one of mine anyway. It's from the King's Gambit tourney I'm currently playing in.

I really like how you go after the Caro-Kann.  Somehow, you actually make it look funto attack the C-K.

And with the black pieces too!  Well done.

If anyone ever has a chance to play NM Colding, don't pass it up - he's a mean gambiteer!
