The fact that we're here and alive is probably a good indication that there aren't many in the neighborhood.
The ARE some in the neighborhood. They were also saying that the earth could have been hit in the remote past causing mass extinctions.
I would have to see scientific papers to check it out. But from what i can tell their are not to many that could hit us, in fact we would be very unlucky to get hit by it. At least that's what Stephen Hawking suggested.
