In the tradition of New Year resolutions, I'd like to propose some formal goals for Team USA Southeast for 2012, and I'd like to hear what you have to say about these goals or any others you would like to propose.  I think it is important to have some way of measuring the things that are most important to our members.  The ones below are measures of match activity, of team growth, of our World League participation, and of creating a new opportunity for team activity.  Are these reasonable?  Should there be others?  Let us know your thoughts.

    * Extend the number of team matches ongoing at any one time up to 15
    * Get 80 new members, and exceed 400 members
    * Participating successfully in the World League

    * Running at least one Team USA Southeast tournament

Those sound like reasonable goals.  I would suggest that 15 ongoing matches should scaled.  By that, I mean some that are under a certain rating level.  15 matches with everybody "all-in" so to speak is a bit much.  I assume that has already been considered but let me know how those 15 matches would be based.

I like the goals - I'd be especially interested in a Team USA SE tournament.

I like the tourney idea - I would suggest doing it in rating brackets though, to keep it interesting for the little fish (like me ;D).

Team .. these sound like reasonable goals to me as well.  Good luck to everyone competing in tourney play.
