200 members by Christmas.
In order to have successful tournaments, we need more active members in the "Gay Chess Players" group that will join quickly after the tournament's creation.
Everyone who is willing in this group should occasionally create a topic on the forums "Gay Chess Group," or "Gay Chess tournament," just to create exposure and get people to join. (Be sure to say "anyone is welcome to join, regardless of orientation"). Our goal is 200 members by Christmas. Be advised, you will get ignorant and offensive comments on your posts. Do not reply to those comments; ignore them or the topic will be locked.
I occasionally create them and get 1-5 members to join per post. 200 members would be enough of a base to be able to consistently create successful tournaments.
