Hello everyone

It seems that our group isnt very active. Thats why I decided to announce 1st Teaching Ladder tournament :) Here is what I suggest:

1) Tourney will start on February 1st

2) It will be a round robin - we will play 2 games with each other member one with white pieces and one with black pieces.

3) This point is optional but I think its good to add it to rules: tournament lasts till february 29th

4) After the game winner should send pgn to my e-mail (ill make it public when tournament starts ;))

5) This is also optional but i think it makes sense: Minimal number of players in the tournament is 4. If less than 4 members sign in to the tournament it will be canceled.

6) To sign in member should just send me a message that he is interested etc :)

7) Ill announce list of players on January 31st (probably in the evening GMT+1)

Thats about it. Please send me messages if you want to play in this tourney. Also if you have any ideas about it please post a message to this forum.

Hope to play you all soon :)

In this group my goal is to learn.  How do we learn from these game more than from chess.com sponsored tournaments coming soon?

Sunday Pun:  It wasn't school John disliked it was just the principal of it.

How do we learn in this group more than from chess.com forums/games? I suppose we wont learn anything if we are not going to make this group work.
