I was looking at all the different groups here at chess.com and saw the Iowa flag. Had to join up.

I live in northern Iowa. Life long resident. Played chess as a kid. Now as the years have added up I'm back at the board. I enjoy this site and all it has to offer.

Hello Hank -- Just online. I havn't played over the board in 20 + years. Not sure if I remember how.  I have thought about it recently. Not sure. Used to be a member of USCF late 70's to early 80's.  And I do check on what's going on at Iowachess.org. from time to time.  I see where zebano had mentioned that site. Having enough time has always been a problem for me.  Wish I had been able to keep playing when I was younger. -- Tom

Hmmm... It would be fun to meet you at a tournament, I am another player at Hank's club so I am a learner but I am getting up there (I need to put those class E tournament games up... >.>)... Well I hope we could get a game with each other some time.

Hello Poketo -- Nice to meet you. Am always up for a game. Have had problems lately with our isp. The signal has been weak if at all. Making it difficult to play chess!! Have not added games recently.

Not sure about the otb tourneys although they do interest me. Would have to join uscf, etc. Will think it over.
