Hey I'm new to chess.com and a huge MMA fan...would love to get some discussion going on here in the forums...since Anderson was the last topic discussed might as well continue in that vein...what does everyone think of Vitor Belfort having to drop out of the upcoming fight in Dubai, and now Demian Maia stepping in...it sucks cuz I was really hoping to see this fight...and I think Anderson is going to destroy Maia(especially considering Nate Marquardt KO'd him with one punch back in Aug)

Yeah, I agree that Maia has slim chance against Silva, because even if Maia does manage to get Silva to the ground, his Jiu-Jitsu on the same level as Maia, so he won't have much of an advantage.  I think he'll be knocked out long before he can try to get Silva down, though.
