Hi to all in this group. I was surprised to find that there was only one UK group on this site. AS you can see I live in the NE in the Orkney Islands, originally I come from England. My wife and I both enjoy chess, infact it chess that bought us together. Since moving to Orkney, we were in the Orkney chess club for a short while. The problem with the club when it functions is that it meets in far out places, or because the membership is small they would not always meet. Does this group play many matches against other groups?

Welcome Robin!  I am glad you could join us all here.  To answer your questions, as the founder of this group told me, this club is rather dead.  You are the first post in a month after mine Laughing.

Hi, Thanks for the links, I went for Team-England. However, for fun I think that this group could work and have fun!
