Here is the thread where we can track the game.

TheGrobe - Tag, You're it!!  Wink

I am the 1st "Super."  I have just made TheGrobe a "Super" as well.  The next person to join will most likely get the title from him.  At that time, TheGrobe will reduce me to a mere member (or should we make it a normal Administrator?), and give the "Super" title to someone else.  That person will then take it away from TheGrobe and give it to a 4th player, and so on.  Whoever has the "Super" title when Chess.com fixes the whole "Super/Co" problem will win the group and can refashion it however they like.

For a proper handoff, there should always be 2 "Supers."

Have fun!!

Nice touch with the 2 "Supers" --  it enforces a no tag-back rule.

When you elevate another member to "Super" you need to retain it for yourself, and also demote the person who tagged you to "Member" -- we should never have a straight Admin in the group -- only Members and Super Admins.

Sure, you can comment.  If you join you can even be a Super.  Wink

And we have our 3rd player - Hot Potato!!

Cool new piece of info:  I just stripped myself of Administrator Powers (couldn't get them back if I wanted to without someone giving them to me).  However, if you try to remove "Super" from yourself without someone else being named "Super" then you will get the error message that every group needs at least one Super.  But apparently you can take them away from yourself and throw the title and powers onto the newest member just like a hot potato.  Maybe that's better than the 2 Super system.

In order to eliminate tag-backs altogether, I'm going to propose this:  When you are a super, you have the "hot potato".  In order to pass it off, you need to reduce yourself to a regular "Admin, "assign someone who's not currently an "Admin" to "Super", and revert the current regular "Admin" to a normal member.

This way, you always know who "tagged" you -- it's the person who's currently an "Admin", and you can't immediately turn them back to a "Super", in effect meaning that there are no tag-backs.

I'll start now by setting myself as "Admin", aabbccdd as "Super".

aabbccdd, you're it, and you can't tag me back.
