Hi, just wondered how everyone learnt to play chess - who taught you? Did chess interest you from the start or did you only just discover how to play it? Also, how long have you been playing?

A chance to share your experiences...

Okay, i'll start off...i became interested when i went to a friend's when i was 7, and he showed me how all the pieces moved. I then went and forgot it all soon after, but i went with him to chess club a couple of years later at school, where i re-learnt and have been playing since Smile. So, been playing for 5 or six years.
