What is this club all about? I live on SW 152nd street and US-1 in miami/Palmeto bay Florida. I would like to meet and play chess. is there any place like this close by???

Welcome Hank, good to have ya!!! Well we do meet atleast use to. But were searching for a location. The library that Jolaur mentioned doesnt have room for us at the moment. But we can always find a new location. Any ideas? :)

yes, i and a small group used to meet and play at STARBUCKS at 14795 South Dixie Hwy. on Wed. nights, That is one block south of the Publix Shopping center. The manager of the Store is a Chess nut too! His name is Eli, I think. The place is a converted Gas Station and has outdoor tables that are under cover, if you are familar with it, it is nice to play outside. If you want we could meet there and play a few games??? You pick a night, and I will be there! Mon. thru Sun.?? It is well lighted at night too! Just like day light! And the Starbucks don't mind, because they got customers, potential customers, etc. Would anyone like to meet there one night a week? Let me know if you are up to it? Anyone? YES...NO?
