I was wondering why this group is called war and peace because I am kind of new here so someone tell me ok.

I said why is this group called war and peace

It's a play off of the word "piece".  "War and Peace" is a popular paradox and since this is chess, seemed a fitting title :)  The name used to be "War and Piece", but for a reason I can't remember, the admin(s) decided to change the name to this :)  That clear it up?

I think a it's popular book of Leo Tolstoy called War And Peace. Maybe the creater of this group named it after that book. I've a little part of that book and that's why I joined this group.
