We are 23 members today on only our first month of existence - that's really good!

Plans:

I have been trying to search out for more Gators so we can have a strong, fun club.  I would like to ultimately challenge other clubs in team matches & vote chess matches.  Vote matches are really good for learning because you get to see everyone's ideas during our moves and learn from others.

Please post if you are interested in joining the matches, and please help find other Gators on the site.

I'm just now playing in my first Team match, representing the Southeast against Sweden. I'm the lowest seed of 66 players playing the 66th seed for Sweden.

other news-

I heard Pat Dooley interviewed on sports radio here in Jax this morning - the last thing he said is that yesterday he saw Tebow riding down the road in G'ville on his scooter. Give that man/child an escort! We don't need him hurt on a scooter.  GO GATORS!
