Does anyone in this group want to start a ladder competition?

Yes, but is this somehow supported by the site, or are you going to keep the score externally (in a google spread sheet for example)...

    A ladder would be fun.

For those of you unfamiliar with ladders, it is a competition that is based on the concept of climbing the "ladder" by winning matches. You can challenge the one above you in the ladder to take his place. Usually there is a grace period after winning a new position on the ladder where you can accept challenges if you want to, but are not compelled to accept them. After the grace, you must accept the challenges made.

Every ladder has its own unique rules, but that's the jist of it.

Hi there! I think it would be nice to try it! Count me in :)

The only thing would be having reasonable time for each move, like in "on line" chess here. Let's say a couple of days, in order to make it possibe, since most of us are busy working, I guess.
