Are any brave souls from our little group going to trek up the mountain to do battle?  It's just over a week away, so it's decision-time.

I'm not going because my budget is a bit tight this year.  Still, I guess I've probably only missed five of them but I know a guy who has attended all of them.

But aside from asking whose going...   I thought this might also be a good opportunity to ask about stories from your experiences at previous LOS tournaments.  I remember a member of the Cola.CC had blog post a few years ago about it.  So, even if you're not going, then how about tell us a tale from years gone by?  For instance, did you (win or lose) enjoy it?  Did you ever meet someone who offered you GOOD advice?  Is there some guy you seem to get paired against ever year?  That type of thing.

All anecdotes welcome!

We had a blast up there. I even managed to lose to an 11 y.o. from Maryland! Oops. There were over 300 players and lots of families, Father-son groups etc. Good times.
