What is everyone's opinions on this? I am glad that he is not in Boston anymore, for he would cause a big problem with the team, as well as the city. I know the Red Sox Clubhouse was really shaken when they heard the news, as they look up to him. How do you think this has effected baseball, and will effect baseball in the immediate future? Will Manny ever regain respect? And do you think that he will ever be considered for the hall of fame?

I love Manny, as he's the greatest right-handed hitter in the game.  Yes, he cheats, but everyone does!  If everyone is cheating, then you do not have an unfair advantage.

Manny's one hilarious character.  Do you remember when he high-fived the fan and still made the play, when he hid in the Green Monster during pitching changes, and hit walk-off game-winning home runs?  That's the Manny who I'll remember.

Even though some people may not respect him quite as much, he will always be entertaining to watch no matter what he is using, and no matter what uniform he plays in.

i feel sorta like g-money on this one.

even if everyone didn't "cheat", i love Manny to the extent that he can really do no wrong, in my eyes. the 08 season was tough for me at times because he was really doing stupid stuff that was hard to turn a blind eye to, like shoving the traveling manager or whatever.

but he is going to come back and whoop some butt for LA just like he always has, so nothing really has/will change
