I think it'll be a great idea to start a tournament stricktly for this group. I'll be the TD. What would happen is I'll make the tournament and make it so that no-one will be able to join unless they are invited.

Great idea! We already have one in progress. Team Maryland Open, the link is below. We do have a lot of new members since that tourney started, so we may be due for another tourney as the first tourney doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon. I would like to suggest an Open group, and an under <some number> group. We have a huge range of ratings here, so I'd like to give the lower guys a chance at winning. Tony, what do you think?

I like the idea of another md tourney....maybe start labeling them by season or month of conception and year...in addition to the open class/ and <class...what are your ideas for a number to start under? 

 sounds good...since our group's current average is 1532, how about under 1500?
