This is here just for those who took part in the tournament in Malvern.

Whilst writing up the results of everyone at home, I had the following problems:

Which round was our game against Malvern?

What was the score in that game?

Who lost what games in the match against Malvern?

It was a brilliant day out; thank-you everybody for coming!  I hoped you enjoyed it!

By the way bluechessmaster, we came 2nd out of 6 teams and have won a tropy each!  I also have a trophy and certificate for the club to give you tommorow!

I hope you'll like the trophy!  We were up against pretty tough oposition from very good 18 year olds!

In round 5, Adi had a great game, in which he pulled a conjuring trick and got a forced mate out of nowhere, getting us in to the final.   We just lost out, 2.5/3.5 against WJCA3, just coming second out of 6 teams.  A great display from everyone; no-one let us down.

I don't really know what's going on, but if you got trophies you must have done something right!  Well done!

It was so tense!  Well done to:

1. brfc

2. Adi98 (especially that really tense match under lots of pressure)

3. wealybinn

4. FrasertheEraser (not as experienced as the rest of us and played very well, great!)

5. LordJones3rd.

Thanks everybody for coming!

bluechessmaster, I will bring the trophy and certificate for the club today.

Sorry wealybinn, but you're wrong.  I know most of the guys we played - and they were 18 year olds.  And you won more games than me because you were on board 5, and I was on board 1 and 2.

I played one and they were loads of others (Alaric, Stephen just to name two).  I played this other guy graded 135 and drew...he was 18 thank-you so much.

It was good that you were getting wins for the team and we wanted to keep it that way...that was why you stayed there.

We all did really well, and I'm afraid welybinn I'm on OG's side :-P. I had to play Alaric and I got killed (Mainly because that was their only good player and they moved him to board 2 :-()

I'm gunna settle this, Aiden is better than welybinn at chess, at we kept you at board 5 because you were doing well there. Stop arguing, we came 2nd for goodness sake. THAT'S AMAZING!!! Now please welybinn, stop arguing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
