Allow me to introduce these new chess pieces i have invented. From left to right, up to down:

• The cannibal: it has the moving ability of the knight and the king and can capture pieces of the same colour
• The ghost: It has two forms - ethereal and material. When etherial, rather than occupying squares in the usual way, it occupies the corners of squares and can move like a queen. In this way it can "phase" through other pieces. When in material form, it occupies squares as normal and can move like a king. It then on top of it's already stated moving ability can move half a square diagonally, thereby transitioning from one state to the other.
• The pacifist (it should really be a dove, shouldn't it?): It jumps two square orthogonally or vertically, but cannot capture. Only useful for blocking attacks.
• The spy: every time you move it, there is a one in six chance it will change colour.
• The werewolf: it alternately moves like a queen and knight
• The coward (ironic symbol): Moves like a rook or knight, but is too cowardly to move into harms way, and so cannot be moved onto a threatened square.

Anyone who wants to can play me at this game. It was haphazardly assembled because it's more a proof-of-concept for the pieces than an actual variant. However, it still needs a name. I present to you...

As in chess with the prefix kila. I'll gradually add more pieces (of increasing complexity) and make gigachess, terachess, etc.

Just a trouple more rules:

• spy's can move like bishop or knight
• werewolfs are too stupid for this game
• ghosts can only materialise onto unoccupied squares
