Hello everyone,

 

I just wanted to introduce myself to the group.  I'm looking forward to playing some chess with you all, and discussing some of the more interesting science that there is out there - hopefully in layman's terms!  I have just finished reading 'The Universe in a Nutshell' and loved it.

The Universe in a Nutshell is good. Have you tried The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene yet?

No I haven't read that one - but I am about to start 'Our Cosmic Habitat' by Martin Rees.  I'll look up 'The Elegant Universe', thanks.
