South India is the only peninsula in the entire globe where three seas meet a point and stretch away. The great Hindu leader who will wipe out our enemies will hence be a south Indian who offers worship on Thursdays. It is easy to see why Nostradamus specifically mentions Thursday as the holy day. It is only Hindus who consider Thursday sacred. Moslems pray on Friday; Jews bow before God on Saturday; Christians bawl hymns on Sunday at church. Nostradamus is making it clear here that the conqueror will be a Hindu from South India. He will bind Asia together under his rule.

The mountain-army crosess the sea in an expidition joint.

As the Hindu troops sweep through the Middle East avenging former wrongs, the Russian army in the Caucasus mountains will link up with them. The paltry ideological guide who will be abandoned is Karl Marx. The sea to be crossed is either the Mediterranean or the Black Sea.

When will this happen?

he said in his poems it will happen in 1999. but some scholars said that he mensioned the date is not the English calender. the year he said 1999 is not the date it is a code word. some thing.

I think predictions without unambiguous dates are of no use. Anyone can say anything and get away with it. These are just tricks which are best avoided.

i don't know clearly. but some says his predictions some of thems were happens. he uses some code words on his names. scholars finding the answers of those codes. but i can't believe it also don't ignore it too.

Bejan Daruwala makes predictions during every elections. His rate of accuracy is no better than mine - a simple observer of politics. Then there was this numerologist (I have forgotten his name - but he used to come daily on a radio in UAE - he also claimed that he advises Amitabh Bachchan which colour curtain to have in his hospital room window and at what time he should get discharged from hospital), he predicted that India will win in the first two one day matches in World Cup (India's matches were against Bangaladesh and another weak team). Obviously all of us would have predicted that. Well, India lost both the matches and was out of the tornament!

These are just tricksters. When their predictions come true, they will keep taling about it like a stuck record - but when they do not, they keep quiet.

Nostra's predictions are ambiguos which may or may not happen. In a way, people somehow manage to intrepret it to some happenings & sell his books saying that others will come true later ?!

We should stop finding solace in such stupidities. Better will be to analyse honestly where we are as Hindus now. Where do we want to go? How to be there? What should we do now for that. The just start doing it!

 I think nostra's predictions are different from Bejan Daruwala's or any others.

Nostra predicted things which can happen aftr many centuries and thus he did not speak those things just to gain scope.

Something truth we can see from his predictions.

any predictors won't tell directly a truth, they tell indirectly.

Yes! So that they can twist the meanings to suit them!!

Some old aged politicos do that in madras as well (for many many decades now). There should be many others like him around the world. Be intelligent & call the bluff on you and us. Dont fall for it.

If someone wants to believe in these predictions, no one can stop them from believing. Because they will always find some interpretation to mean what they want to believe.

About 15 years back (I think it was 1995) - one fine morning the whole world was abuzz with "Ganeshji is drinking milk". It was claimed that you just bring the milk glass near the idol and milk will vanish. In fact I heard it from such a close relative that I had to go and see it myself. So I went to a place where such a miracle was happening. There was a queue of about 30 persons, each with milk glass from their home. Following was happening:

1. The "pujari" did not allow you to offer milk yourself - he would do it for you after transferring your milk into a small pot with a narrow mouth.
2. The idol was of white marble, sitting into a base of white marble
3. There was some sand in the base
4. The "pujari" would take his small milk pot (really small), place the narrow mouth of milk pot next to ganeshji's trunk in such a manner that a part of trunk end will go inside the pot's narrow moth. Yes, touching milk - not as being claimed on the streets.
5. Then he would tilt the pot a bit
6. You are standing at a distance, so you cant really see it properly.
7. He would announce that Ganeshji is drinking milk.
8. Then because there were so many in the queue and all were eager to get their home milk also to be offered, the pujari would give a final tilt and claim that "ganesh ji has drunk the whole milk".
9. The whole process would be over in less than a minute, before you could understand what happened! And you would be asked to move on, to let next devotee offer his milk.
10. Obviously you would leave some money at the feet of Ganeshji...

Standing aside, I observed stream of milk flowing from the body of Ganesh ji to base (everything was white so you can't easily see milk). Since there was sand at the bottom part, milk could not be seen flowing and of course there was a small drain at the back of the idol (you need it everyday for washing, in any case).

It was abvious to me what was happening.

I came home, filled a tumbler with water, took my tie pin (I subsequently also used a hair pin and even a pen) and clipped the tumbler with it, such that one side was in and other out. I gave it a bit of tilt and with the capillary action water started coming out of the tumbler. The tumbler was emptied till the tie pin level after some time.

The other canard that was being spread was that "it will happen only for few days" and not everyone will be able to offer Ganeshji milk that he will drink.

I demonstrated to whoever was interested or was distressed that "ganesh ji did not drink milk from my hand"  many weeks later - that I could help him and he could even now make ganesh ji drink milk!

To cut the chase, today the youngsters may laugh and say how could people in 1995 all over the world (this frenzy was in India, USA, UAE, UK for 3-4 days) be so stupid to believe such miracles, but the fact is that their are con men in every age and find a way to fool us.

If someone wants to make a prediction of what is going to happen after 400 years, what is he afraid of? Certainly not the rulers of his time! Why is he writing in riddles? Let him state clearly. For example - "A great nation India will be split in 1947 into India and Pakistan which will lead to an immediate mini war in an area called Kashmir. They will fight again in 1965 and 1971, which will lead to creation of a third country."

Surely these are historical events of great significance and if Nostradamus was really such a great predictor, he should have stated it clearly, leaving no one in any doubt as to what he is saying. But did he ?

Fact is that crooks are out there to make a quick buck out of gullible people.

             I agree with the opinion about how quickly the rumours spread,when people start believing blindly !

     But regarding the above paragraph,i just want to say that ,whenever such experiences occur ,many a times ,the things are seen symbolically  & not with direct names of persons/places etc.

    Still, i must clear the fact that i am not on the side of taking the predictions very seriously! 

        Why should we need somebody to "predict" our furure ,when we believe in our own capabilities (& know our weaknesses as well )?
