    • In keeping with Muhammad (peace be upon him) example and Islamic law,Muslim flags DO NOT bear any representation of OBJECTS, SYMBOLS , LIVE CREATURES !!! These flags are not Islamic in their nature.            During the Muhammad (s.a.w.s) time and early Muslim's community did not use any designs or geometric shapes as symbols on their flags.Muslim ppl and armies flew simple coloured flags (offen Black and White) for indetifications purposes. After Muhammad a.s. Muslim leaders contunied to use black, white, green, red etc. with no symbols or markers on it.

    - The HOLLY QURAN does NOT specify any symbols for ISLAM !!!

    • Crescent,Crescent and star,objects,live creatures

    - As we know today, huge no. of Muslim majority population, countries etc. using crescent, objects, live creatures on their flags.Let's go as far as we can to see why ? Crescents, moons are used since antiquity and it's known to humanity.Oldest found one is on Akkadian seal before 2300 BC (Mesopotamia) and means god of Nanna.Phoenicians 800 BC etc.

Don't forget that inside Ka'ba was statua of HUBAL representing moon wich is destroyed by First Muslims.

    Also used by :

    - Greeks (representing goddess Diana) ; Carthaginians ( rep. goddess Tanit ) Persian's,old Slavic pagans,in Hinduism (Shiva),Heraldic and all over the places as Central Asia,Siberia, middle east etc. Some examples before ISLAM :

       532 BC (old city)                  Suren-Pahlav flag,Persia [ 248 BC - 224 AD ]

    Achaemenid Dynasty,Persia [ 559 BC-330 BC ]

"sin" "moon god" by Shamash and Ishtar [ 2100 BC ]

The Mesopotamian Ziggurat, temple of "moon god"

    Sign of "sin-moon god"[2000 BC]     Nabodilus (last king,Babylon) [550BC]

Assyrians crescent and moon glyph (Anatolia,Karum) [ 1900 BC ]

    Ancient Persian moon-goddess (Kusuh)

    Egyptian moon-goddes-Nannar[2100BC]

    yerah-moon-god-of-Canaan (Hazor,Palestine)...

    Arsacide Dynasty [ 64-428 ]

    Derafsh e Mehr,Persia flag [224-651]

    "triple-goddess" Neopagans symbol"

Heptalite Empire (White Huns) [around 500 ]

Illiricum (Illirya) symbol before coming  Ottomans and Islam on their teritory found [1340.]

This is just few examples of so many why crescent and star are NOT Islamic symbol and should not be in use on their flags or anywhere by Muslims all over the Earth.

    - Muhammad a.s. also removed "eagle" from Quraish flag.

So,after all people before and after Islam seems kept their custom's or most of them adopted. The huge impact on Crescent and star took by Ottoman Empire, when the Turks counquered Constantinopole (Instanbul) in 1453.and adopted city flag and symbol(there is 2 version Selim "dream" and star means 5 muslim pillars*** but just speculations, not verifable).Becouse they ruled for hundreds of years over the Muslim and European countries it's understanable how the symbols of this empire became linked to the peoples mind with the faith of ISLAM  as a whole.

Many Muslims till today reject using this symbols as symbol of Islam.

The FAITH of ISLAM has historicly had NO symbol and it's essentally an ancient pagan icon.

Allah dz.s. knows the best !
