I love gambits really I do but this one seems totally useless I don't see how white compensates at all.

I guess the main idea is that white's two knights will be zeroing in on c7, and Black will probably lose the right to castle.  There is no guarantee we'll win the game, but I'm sure we'll have fun trying.

I don't think there are any ideas.

Yeah, White seems to score quite well after 13.c3.  Black usually plays 12...Ra4 instead of 12...Qa5+.
