 of course you can't..

You cant even mate with 2 knights and a king.. well you can but your opponent has to mess up on purpose to allow you the win

no u cant! if you have only a knight and a king and the oponent has only a king it is imposible to mate him and the game is drawn

On ver y special cases, when opponent has a rook pawn, and the king in trapped there.
