Why do we sleep in church,
But stay awake through a 2 hour movie?

Why is it so hard to talk about God,
but so easy to talk about rumors?

Why are we so bored when we look at the Bible,
but find it easy to read Playboy?

Why is it so easy to ignore a Godly message,
Yet we re-post the nasty ones?

Why are churches getting smaller,
But bars and clubs are growing?

Think about it.

1st Q:i think most biblical accounts can be converted to movies so that people can be reaached out by the truths that are in them

2nd Q: to share God to others, one should be Spirit-driven...else, it's a toatlly powerless thing to do...rumors on the other spread because of the innate sin in us that crave for satiation of fleshly desires...

3rd Q:  there are now good versions of bibles that are good to look at and are quite interesting reads...maybe making it affordable for others will solve this issue...on the one hand, magazines that contain illicit pictures still touch individuals' sinful nature and can only be resolved by being clear to him that his/her body is a temple of God which must be presented holy (separated for) God alone...

4th Q:  this is also my question...in one of the e-groups i'm in some of those accepted quotes/messages are not too wholesome yet when it's about God...again probably because of the rebellious tendencies of men...

5th Q:  we need to have more Christians reaching out to them the way the Lord Jesus did... remembering that "the Son of man came to seek and save the lost"...problem however is that some of us (myself included at times) tend to be judgmental instead of considering one of the greatest commands of the Lord (john 15)  Love your neighbor as yourself...the task is difficult but as long as God is with us, we'll be victors... Thanks Sarah for your reminders...
