The Mets are probably the best team on paper in baseball.  They have three of the six best players in the game!

Don't get down!  Once Smoltz and Bowden join the team, the Red Sox will be unstoppable!  Don't worry about the Mets!  We'll worry about them in the World Series!

I'm glad to see Beckett back to being good.  A return to his 2007 should-have-been Cy Young form would be a huge boost for the team.

Today wasn't just any ordinary game, the Red Sox faced off against the Yankees, automatically making the game special. Also, the AL East was on the line, as the red sox were back from the yankees by half a game. Today the Red Sox proved their superiority, and won in spectacular fashion, only allowing two hits. I am proud to be a Red Sox fan!
