In my case this two ratings are very close to one another.

Chess Mentor rating: moving between 2050 and 2140

Online Chess rating: moving between 2000 and 2130

How do this two ratings relate in your case?

Current Online chess = 1948

Current Mentor rating = 1793 (down from 2021 a couple of days ago)  Darn thing is pretty unforgiving, but I'm trying *really hard* to ignore ratings in Mentorworld.

I haven't been through enough problems in Chess Mentor for this comparison to be  significant yet.

Besides, as the problems ratings have been changed lately, I think I'll have to wait a little.

My Chess Mentor rating is in the low 2000s.  I don't play quick, but my online is in the 1200s, my blitz is in the 900s and my long is in the low 1100s.  A huge difference!

i am doing the starter lessons and my CM rating is astronomical compared to real life.  they should not give so many rating points for these levels, or none at all.
