    Hi members

    I see this is one of the smaller groups.

    I've joined cos i love playing Nf3. Thought i'd just post a couple of traps to  get things started off. You might already know them but its a nice reminder and it may fill the forum out abit more :)

    Not so much a trick because the position os even after this but it stops black from castling, which isn't a bad thing

    I'm curious on trick 4 would Ne5 be even better than Nd4?  The rook still can't be protected as far as I can see and you don't necessarily give up the knight.

    Hi,

    I often thought that but...

    After Ne5 black can play Nd5 protecting the Rook. However after Nd4 if black plays Ne5 then white can recapture the 'b' pawn with the Knight and still have pressure on the 'c' pawn with the Queen

    Hope that makes sense.
