It is important to make sure you have an exact clear time, in our 2nd semi final match AL v Chess Nuts! AL got a bit confused because of daylight saving times and nearly missed the challenge

No thank you, I would like to consult my team before commiting them to an intensive Speed Vote Match so at least that way with our small team we could plan ahead and maximise our members online, but if you wish to play a normal 1 day or 2 day per move match then yes we would be up for a game

Yeah, you don't want to have a start window that wide open.  If you round up your team and have them online and ready to play, and the game doesn't start until 2 hours later, people will get upset.  The 2 of you should have one specific time set so that everyone can be ready.

And I can't believe you're starting a game that late at night!!  Especially on Halloween!!  You'll be cutting in on everyone's Trick-or-Treat time.  Wink  Seriously tho, 7-9pm GMT may be Noon-2pm in California (Kairav would LOVE this start time Wink), and 7-9am Sunday in New Zealand, but anyone in Europe will have to give up any sleep as the game will likely not end before the sun comes up Sunday morning.  The Americans lose an hour of sleep that night too, as that's the night Daylight Savings Time ends over here.

I'm not saying you CAN'T start it that late.  In fact, if that's what you guys agree on, then that's what you guys agree on.  I just hope there's a lot of American and Aussie players for that game, as there probably won't be a lot of Europeans for the bulk of it.  But as we've discussed many times, you can't please all the people all the time, so just let us know what you work out.  But I really don't think you should have a 2-hour range like that.  Pick a start time and stick to it, whatever it is.

some teams are stronger then others so why not have divisions with promotion and relegation?

I tried to divide all the conferences as equally as I could so that all the strong players weren't in one division and all the weaker teams were in another.  By spreading out the strongest and weakest teams, (so that every division has 1 strong team, 1 weak team, etc.) it helps to ensure that the strongest teams will meet in the playoffs, rather than getting eliminated too early.
