Good read littleman. Andre Philidor once said that "The pawns are the soul of chess" as you also stated. How true!!
It is so easy to just move pawns without having a real plan or even with utter disregard for their saftey and value.
Sure is i learned that hard way why u have a plan and also y u make moves always for a reason.
