    This is the Berlin defense and Ruy Lopez.

     1.e4.e5.2.Nf3.Nf6.3.Bb5.Nc3

    This is a great example of how to start a game.

     

     

     

    kings gambit accepted

    1.e4.e5.2.f4.exf4

    If black does not take it, it is kings gambit declined.

    If it is accepted white should play Nf3, or Bc4.
