Could it actually happen?  Is this a sign of the apocalypse?

Nope. Not this time.  Because the Colts decided to give a free pass to the Jets and the Bengals are playing like they have forgotten how to play football.  If I were the Bengals, I would be embarrassed to call myself a playoff team the way that they have played tonight.

I don't know how they think they are going to win next week the way they played tonight.  7 yards total offense in the 1st half and Palmer threw for 0 yards.

72 yards of total offense by the Bengals, WHAT THE #$%&

Kris Brown has got go.  He will be cut this week.  Chris Brown (RB) is gone too, he sucks.  Kubiak will survive and I am okay w/ that for now.  He has one more year.

Going forward, I think we need a down hill rusher either through FA or the draft.  Our #1 need draft wise is a safety.

I need time to mull the situation.  I am still pissed about how the season ended.  Given that we were out by one game and we blew 5 games in the 4th Q by missing FGs and fumbling.

Both Brown's will not be employed by the Texans next season.  Kris Brown has shown he is snake bit.  Palmer having 0 passing yards and Chad whateverthehellhisnameistoday having 0 catches is not by mistake; all went as planned for Cinci.  They would rather play the jets than the Texans, so they threw the game, plain and simple.  It really aggravates me when a team does this in any sport.  I have less respect for the NFL; that is not the way the game was meant to be played.  I mean, come on, they didn't even try.  If you are going to throw a game, at least make it look like you were actually attending the game you are playing in.  The Jets got 2 free passes from the Colts and Bungholes, just because they are the weaker team and no one wanted to face us.  What a huge disappointment.  The KC game had me and I'm sure every other Texans fan's hopes up.  Things were looking real good until "football night in America" started.  That wasn't "football", that was vagina ball.

According to ESPN the NFL is looking into teams laying down in games when they already have locked up a playoff spot.  The catch being they are not sure what they can do about the situation.  I agree w/ everything you say except about the Browns.

Props to Cushing for getting D Rookie of the Year.  The D has turned into to a real bright spot of the team.  I am proud of the way the Texans finished and have high hopes for next year.

Being a native Houstonian (born and raised) and I tend to have a football complex given this city's past.  Probably being too negative most of the time.  I want desperatly to beleive in this team and I want the to be winners.

So you think they will both stay, or just one of them leave?  If I had to choose, I say get rid of the kicker.  He alone is the reason we aren't in the playoffs.

I think the kicker is a foregone conclusion.  I know he is an original Texan but so what?  If I remember correctly they SUCKED!

There is no reason to keep Chris Brown since Foster is doing so well.  Plus he fumbles, but he is not the only one w/ that problem.  Hopefully Slaton comes back strong and this year was just a sophomore slump.

Yeah, Kris Brown is our original kicker, and Dom Capers was our original coach, and we had no problem kicking him to the curb.  I hope they don't get nostalgic on us and keep him.  So what don't you agree with me about the Browns?

I misread your comments.  Both will not be Texans next year.  Sorry for the confusion.
