any thoughts on the new season? I loved it and can't wait for more during Christmas time

I thought it was great. I think Matt Smith is now my favorite doctor from the new series. My only complaint is that the vortex shouldn't have clouds and lightning in it in the title sequence. This is a really geeky objection, but hey, I embrace my geekness.

Is it finished? I thought that BBC America still had more episodes left to air. Unless you guys are watching it online as soon as they air in the UK, and might be a few episodes ahead of me.

I really like it. Matt Smith is great and I love the personality profile of the new doctor - friendly, silly, but quick to anger at injustice. Karen Gillan is IMO the hottest companion to appear in the new series yet, and I could watch her do nothing for hours and hours and hours ... but she plays a great character as well. And I think the stories have been pretty top notch.

But Chronotis - I'm with you, I preferred the title sequence (and the theme song arrangement) from the last Tennant season. And if I can raise my own geeky objection ... does anyone else think the new TARDIS is a bit too ... blue?

funny, this season it seems the writers have been humourously self-critical and find a way to address many little quirks as little one-off comments in the script.... the "blueness" of the Tardis not withstanding... gets a brief mention in an episode you might not have seen yet.

I think there are a few shows left i think they took a break for the holiday.

I´ve been watching the "BBC-uk" series, and I can´t wait till Christmas. However, I miss David Tennant, ´d love to see him back once...

I've bought a few Season 5 episodes on iTunes but am waiting to catch up on the rest of the season on Netflix here.  Discovering that I really like the Amelia Pond character and the actress quite well!

Martha Jones is the best sidekick ever!!!
