I had to stay overtime at my office this evening. The tasks I had to do were rudimentary so I started sipping some wine (I have my private office). Pretty soon -> plastered. Went to live chess. Played about 30 matches. Lost all. It was horrible. My rating went down about 150 points. Then: and opponent at same (current) rank. I ruled. Special delight: I'm drunk - (s)he's sober -> Winning drunk against a sober opponent must be one of the greatest moments in an soon-to-be alcoholic's chess carreer. Comments, fellow drunkards?

very nice.  Maybe it just took you 30 games to get warmed up!?  I try to only play unrated when drinking a lot.  Just the other night I got lucky though as I was losing badly in a bullet game and my opponent only had one move to mate, but I won on time instead!
