Mortal Combat wasn't on the old NES, but as far as the SNES goes, I will submit that for a top-10 slot!

I was a late-comer to Final Fantasy (started w/ VII).  I played through the 1st one on the PSX remake.

Also, Super Mario Bros. will always be a classic, but I played it again the other day and it just wasn't the same.... maybe it is because I am not as good as I used to be.. although I was able to get the 99+ lives trick once.
